Dubbed “the most dangerous woman in the world”, Los Angeles-based boxing trainer and star of Clint Eastwood’s Million Dollar Baby, Lucia Rijker (left) is in Yarraville with WBC super-featherweight world champion Diana Prazac (right), at Mischa Merz’s Boxing Central.
Rijker trains Altona-born Prazac, who is back in town for Saturday’s bout at Melbourne Pavilion in Flemington.
Merz says Prazac is the only Australian boxer, male or female, to have won a world championship by knocking out a reigning champion in their home town.
She fights Shannon O’Connell, a mother-of-two from Queensland who also holds a world title.
