TAC Cup: Western Jets continue their upward charge

The Western Jets continued to charge up the TAC Cup ladder with a fourth consecutive win on Saturday.

The Jets were far too good for the Bendigo Pioneers, finishing 66-point winners, 14.10 (94) to 4.4 (28).

After taking a six-point lead into quarter time, the Jets set up the win in a blistering second term, piling on five goals to one.

Liam Duggan continued his great start to the season with another best-on-ground performance, while up forward Mitchell Norton was the club’s leading goalscorer with a bag of four.

The win improved the Jets’ record to 4-3, taking the side to fourth on the ladder. The Jets’ next match is against the Northern Knights on May 25.
