Altona Sports Centre (ASC) held a Basketball Camp for 150 young basketball fans.
Presented by ASC and Lanard Copeland, former NBA player and Altona Gators men’s coach, the camp ran from January 17-18 and covered fundamental basketball skills such as shooting, defense and ball-handling.
Basketball legend Andrew Gaze, who Copeland has worked alongside in the past, was featured as a special guest on Tuesday.
A statement from ASC said it was great to see young athletes learn invaluable skills from Copeland.
“Lanard is a fantastic asset to Altona Sports Centre sharing all of his knowledge and experience.”
Altona Sports Centre offers Basketball Camps every school holidays.
