AFLW

Williamstown’s Gabrielle Biedenweg-Webster’s AFLW dream has been achieved after signing with the Gold Coast Suns as mature-age signings ahead of the 2022 NAB AFLW draft. The running defender whose running and speed is a strength of her game, was one of three mature age signings announced by the Suns last week. Suns coach Cameron Joyce said Biedenweg-Webster appealed to the clubs, “as a running defender who loves to take the game on coming out of defence”. “We’ve set about improving our list in areas of need and these three players will help our defensive stocks while also bringing some fantastic experience to our group,” he said.
