Williamstown has produced a Saturday evening special to roll Point Cook 3-0 in the Football Victoria men’s state league 3 north-west competition.

Blues striker Graham Bell continued his rich goal scoring form with a double to take his season tally to eight in seven games.

Alex Vlassis also got on the scoresheet for the second week running.

It was Williamstown’s third win in succession, consolidating third spot on the ladder.

The Blues are still a long way behind the top two, eight points in arrears of second placed Lalor United, but they do have a game in hand and will keep fighting for promotion.

Williamstown will be back on the road on Saturday for a crucial away game against top-of-the-ladder FC Strathmore.
