Altona gave Toorak East Malvern a 5-0 pasting in the Hockey Victoria women’s premier league on Saturday. Jess Brennan hit in a double for the A’s, while Bronte Kerley, Stephanie Young and Danielle Schubach joined in the rout.
Earlier in the week, Schubach and Taylah Brennan were named in the VIS Vipers squad. In men’s premier league, the A’s were defeated 4-3 by Southern United.
Matthew Guest, who is on international duty with Canada, has been named in the Victorian Vikings squad. Matt Huf, Andrew Scanlon and Harry Dolenc were selected in the Victorian under-21s.
