Bulldogs staff, players enter AFL Health and Safety Protocols putting weekends game at risk

The Western Bulldogs AFLW match against Geelong this weekend could be in doubt, with a number of Bulldogs staff and players in isolation.

In a statement on Wednesday night, the Bulldogs said that those in isolation had been ruled out from participating in Saturday’s round two match at GMHBA Stadium due to the ALF’s Health and Safety Protocols.

The statement said the club will work closely with the AFL to “determine the next course of action in relation to the Club’s ability to participate in this weekend’s fixture, as per the AFLW Covid Match Rescheduling Guidelines.”

It is unknown how many staff and players have been affected.
