Yarraville Club secured its spot in the next round of the Victorian Turf Cricket Association T20 competition on Tuesday night.
Having won their first game of the pool round, the Clubbers faced Footscray United, with a win enough to secure a spot in the finals.
The Bulldogs won the toss and elected to bat.
They started strongly and were 1-74, before the wickets started to fall. They were eventually restricted to 6-108.
James Deasy top scored with 35 at the top of the order.
Mitch Johnstone and Issam Sami took two wickets each for the Clubbers.
The Clubbers lost a wicket without scoring but a victory never looked unlikely with their top order all making runs.
The Clubbers finished 4-111 in the 15th over.
Johnstone capped off a strong game with 39 not out off 29 balls.
Frank Hoang took two wickets for the Bulldogs.
Altona North finally got on the pitch in the T20 competition, beating Laverton.
Laverton won the toss and elected to bat, bowled out for 111 with nine balls remaining.
Asim Mehmood top scored with 27.
Patrick McArdle took 4-25 off 3.3 overs.
After being in trouble at 3-25, Alton North recovered and was able to make the runs with ease. Altona North finished 6-113.
Luke Denny top scored with 44 off 33 balls.
Mehmood took two wickets for Laverton.
A win in the final pool match against Footscray Angliss in January, will seal a spot in the next round.
