Footscray is through to not one, but two, Hockey Victoria premier league grand finals.

The Bulldogs’ men’s and women’s teams both won through in their respective leagues to be involved in the feature games on the biggest day in Victorian hockey this Saturday.

In men’s premier league, Footscray stormed into the grand final after a 5-1 smashing of MCC in the preliminary final at the State Netball and Hockey Centre on Saturday evening.

The full attacking arsenal of the Jarrod Lester-coached Bulldogs was on show as Liam Braithwaite, Lachlan Darcy, Simon Borger, Scott Shaw and Mitch Braiden found the back of the net in the rout.
