Ever wanted to bat with Brian Lara or have the chance to bowl to him?
The former West Indies star will be taking to field in Footscray on Saturday and you have the chance to join him.
Footscray United is hosting a T10 charity match on Saturday, with Lara and his former West Indies teammate and now Footscray United player Daren Ganga captaining the two sides.
People have the chance to buy a spot in the match, with the money going to charity and helping build the Bulldogs junior program.
Lara will then have a question and answer session at the club after the match.
Bulldogs captain-coach Shafraz Mohamed said it was pretty exciting for the club. Another former West Indies star Shivnarine Chanderpaul was at a recent match as well.
“It’s very exciting to have a world recorder at the club,” he said. “I don’t think something like has been done before in the VTCA and it’s really good for the club and community.”
