A big clash between unbeaten teams Spotswood and Altona highlights round three of the Western Region Football League division 1 senior competition.
Last season, Altona were the team to beat with the most wins of any team in the league with 10, as they finished on top before the season was brought to an early finish due to Covid.
One of Altona’s losses came in round 12 against Spotswood who won by 19 points playing at home.
Spotswood finished in sixth position last year, recording six wins.
It will be the game to watch this round.
The only other undefeated team in the competition as it stands is Caroline Springs who sit on the top of the ladder with the best percentage.
In others matches, Sunshine will take on Yarraville Seddon Eagles with both teams striving to pick up their first wins of the season.
Point Cook who are also winless will take on Deer Park (1-1) at home.
St Albans (1-2) will head to Caroline Springs to take on the Lakers.
Hoppers Crossing (2-1) will host the Werribee Districts (1-1).
