Western United fans will be able to watch the club’s A-League Women’s side at home at City Vista Reserve twice within a number of days after fixture changes.
United will face Wellington Phoenix on Saturday at home, their second game at City Vista Reserve this season.
With changes to the fixture announced on Wednesday after the postpoment of some games due to the weather, United will be back at City Vista on January 11 against Sydney FC.
The match will be a twilight game, starting at 5pm.
The addition of the game against Sydney at home, was one of three fixture changes announced by the Australian Professional Leagues for United.
The reverse meeting between United and Sydney on March 5 will now be a Sydney home match at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.
While the March 5 fixture was originally scheduled to be at Morshead Park in Ballarat, the previously postponed meeting against Newcastle Jets will replace it to ensure that the Green and Black family in Ballarat still have two opportunities to watch the side.
The Ballarat faithful can watch United’s women twice in five days as they face the Jets on February 8 following a meeting with Perth Glory on February 4.
