Williamstown will be favourite heading into the second day of its sub-district cricket clash with Sunshine after posting 8-264 at Williamstown Cricket Ground.

Matthew Twentyman was the toast of the Seagulls on Saturday night after making 108 not out off 164 balls.

Twentyman arrived at the crease with the Gulls at the crossroads on 4-84 and held his bat to stumps.

Yarraville posted 201 against Caulfield (1-6) at the Yarraville Oval with Matthew Love (81) and Josh Hahnel (53) reaching half centuries.

Altona restricted Oakleigh to 8-182 at the Frank Kirk Oval after strong bowling performances from Jake Duff (4-68) and Stefan Sidari (2-54).
