Yarraville Seddon is knocking on the door of the Western Region Football League division 2 top four after a 95-point smashing of West Footscray at the Yarraville Oval on Saturday.
Boom recruit Andrejs Everitt showed off his quality with six goals as the Eagles led at every change en route to a runaway victory.
Jack Collins, Josh Crofton and Matthew Taylor were the standouts for the Eagles, while Jesse Varsamakis and James Backway kicked three goals apiece.
The Eagles are 2-2 and one win outside the top four.
It was a tough day for West Footscray, which remains winless and on the bottom of the ladder.
Darcy McCallum and Tobi Bray were the Roosters’ only multiple goalkickers with two apiece.
Yarraville Seddon will host Parkside on Saturday, while West Footscray will be out to break its duck when it entertains Manor Lakes.

There is an upbeat feeling at Newport after its 20-point road win over Manor Lakes. The Porters have won three of their opening four matches to sit in the top four. A 31-to-zip opening quarter set up Newport’s victory. Bill El Souki led the way for the Porters with three goals, while Youssef El Hawli added two.
Parkside had a brutal 81-point loss to Wyndhamvale at Henry Turner Reserve. It was the Magpies’ first loss of the season.
North Footscray went down in a thriller by three points to Point Cook Centrals.
The Devils, who have just one win from four outings, coughed up an eight-point three-quarter time lead.
In division 1, Altona shocked the west with the merciless manner in which it dismantled six-time defending premier Deer Park. The fourth-placed Vikings ran riot to record a 68-point win at Grant Reserve.
Altona will get the chance to make it three wins in a row when it visits newly promoted Point Cook on Saturday.
Elliot Cavallaro had a day out for the Vikings with five goals, while Kevin Johnson, Mitch Norton and Kelly Pickard were in the Vikings’ best.
Spotswood took down Hoppers Crossing on its own turf by 22 points. Charlie Nastasi was brilliant for the Woodsmen with five goals.
The Woodsmen are well placed in second spot ahead of a blockbuster date with Werribee Districts at McLean Reserve on Saturday.
In division 3, Braybrook had a heartbreaking seven-point loss to Sunshine Heights, while Laverton was no match for Albanvale in a 47-point defeat.
