Asia-Pacific Tennis League: New challenge for rampant Gulls

LISTON Seagulls have emerged as the team to beat in the Victorian conference of the Asia-Pacific Tennis League.

The Seagulls (3-0) had a big weekend, defending their home turf on Friday night with a four rubbers-to-two win over Kooyong Classics, and following up on Sunday with a six rubbers-to-nil clean sweep of the Bundoora Bulls.

The top-of-the-ladder Gulls have another busy weekend, facing Dingley Dingoes in a first-versus-second showdown on Friday night at Dingley with the winner to be favourites to finish on top, followed by a bout with the Waverley Warriors at Doveton on Sunday. The top two clubs play the final at Kooyong on November 30.
