Seabrook family escapes blaze

A mother and her son were treated for smoke inhalation when a house fire in Seabrook caused about $50,000 damage last Thursday night. 

About 25 Point Cook CFA firefighters attended the blaze in Kim Court, arriving to find the house was full of smoke and a bedroom on fire.

About 25 firefighters battled the fire, It is believed the fire was sparked by an electrical fault in a fan controller.
