ALTONA Gators have appointed Adam Steere to coach their men’s division 1 team in the Victorian Basketball League.
Steere arrives at the Swamp with more than 40 years’ experience as a player and coach.
He had two stints as head coach of Warrnambool Seahawks in the championship division and was most recently assistant coach at Sandringham in the SEABL D-League.
Meanwhile, Randy Shanklin has taken over as coach of the Gators women’s division 1 team, replacing Sharon Grieve.
