POLICE have raided what appears to be a drug laboratory near a university campus in Maidstone.
A police spokeswoman said officers were at the scene inspecting equipment believed to be used to make illicit drugs.
She said police raided a property on Hampstead Road in Maidstone near Victoria University on Wednesday afternoon.
