LAVERTON Community Choir needs men.
President Di Coleman says of the choir’s 28 members, only five are men.
“We are looking for more male members as they add another dimension to a choir,” she said.
“Finding males is not always that easy compared to women. However, our choir is a fun group of people and everyone is made very welcome.
“You don’t need any experience, just a love of singing, as a choir is a group of people who come together to share that common thread.”
The choir last year sang at numerous community events including the Newport Festival.
Formed in 2009, the choir is a member of the Australian National Choral Association. It is not-for-profit and has no religious affiliation.
