POLICE are seeking witnesses of a fatal car crash in Footscray last Saturday. Investigators believe a car travelling west on Ballarat Road lost control and struck a tree about 4.40am.
A Footscray man, 22, was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital but died just after 4.30pm. Another Footscray man, 22, was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, a South Melbourne man, 23, was interviewed and released pending further inquiries.
