The red hot Dom Dudkiewicz has added the Max Campbell Memorial race to his list of Footscray Cycling Club victories this summer. Dudkiewicz overhauled Paul Anders in a sprint to the line to take out the A grade race with Shaun Gatter third. In B grade, Paul Kenny came from six bike lengths back on the last corner to beat Bob Shannon and Tim Robertson across the line.
Golf
Stacey Keating is the toast of Victorian women’s golf. The 26-year-old from Sanctuary Lakes has taken out the 2013 Victorian Open at the 13th Beach golf course. Keating, a two-time European tour winner last year, shot rounds of 71, 68, 68 and 71 to card 278. She finished two shots ahead of England’s Hannah Burke and WA’s Kristie Smith. Sydneysider Matthew Giles won the men’s open.

Williamstown will begin its practice match circuit with a ‘battle of the west’. The Seagulls face Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval from 4pm Friday.
