Premier Cricket: Here’s to you, Wes Robinson

FOOTSCRAY Edgewater has disrupted the finals plans of Casey-South Melbourne in the Victorian Premier Cricket.

The fast-finishing Bulldogs won the first innings points after a stunning opening day’s play at Merv Hughes Oval.

The Swans failed to apply themselves and were routed for just 76 in 38 overs.

The Bulldogs’ reply (3-207) was swift as they took a 131-run lead at stumps.

Wes Robinson (102 not out) and Travis Dean (50) dispatched the ball to all points.

It was Robinson’s second ton for the Bulldogs since crossing from WA.
