Williamstown’s garden of delight sees bard in spotlight

THE Bard is back with two autumn performances of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night in the Williamstown Botanic Gardens. OZACT’s production, this Sunday and March 24 at 3pm, stars Timothy Ryan as Sebastian opposite Eva Torkkola in the role of Cesario. Artistic director Bruce Widdop says the garden setting is perfect for Shakespeare’s rollicking comedy. “From its unforgettable first line to its comic conclusion, Twelfth Night is a masterpiece of disguise, deception and desire.” Patrons enter by the main gate on the corner of Giffard and Osborne streets. Tickets are $33 for adults, $28 concession and $20 for children. Entry is free for children under six.
