Crash teen fights for life

A 13-year-old Sunbury girl continues to fight for life in The Alfred hospital a week after a serious car crash in Sunshine West. A 15-year-old Newport boy died and another girl, from Doreen, sustained life-threatening head injuries and was taken to hospital in a critical condition. Two male passengers also suffered serious injuries and were taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Water’s impact on life

Sunbury and Macedon Ranges residents can give feedback on future plans to manage water supplies in the region. Western Water recently launched its community engagement reference group, made up of community representatives and Western Water board members.
