A Footscray musician launches her much-anticipated second EP on Saturday. After widespread praise and awards for her debut self-titled EP, Kaisha is back with The End of the Divide: Chapter 2 through her independent label SnakeEye Productions. Kaisha (pictured) self-produced, wrote, mixed and engineered the recording — and played all the instruments. She says the EP merges intensely rhythmic Middle-Eastern rock with honest lyrics straight from the soul of her Armenian-Australian background. The EP will be launched at the Wesley Anne in Northcote on Saturday night. Kaisha will then return to the studio for a follow-up release.
