The exhibition will be launched at 6.30pm on Friday, with an art workshop the next day. Opening hours over the weekend are 11am-3pm. Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses following the death of a man in Maribyrnong nearly two years ago. Police are interested in speaking to anyone with new information on the movements of 22-year-old Michael Atakelt, whose body was found in the Maribyrnong River on July 7, 2011. Five days to settle Briffa-Hemphill row

Five days have been set aside at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal to hear a dispute between Hobsons Bay councillors Tony Briffa and Peter Hemphill. The dispute started mid-2011 when Cr Hemphill alleged misconduct over emails sent to former Mobil public relations adviser Maureen Short. Cr Hemphill subsequently alleged serious misconduct over the adequacy of Cr Briffa’s apology.
