MULTI-award-winning Footscray performer Sarah Ward returns to the stage this month in the latest annual extravaganza by production company Finucane & Smith.
Ward, pictured, describes the genre-blurring show The Glory Box: Paradise as a subversive and progressive form of burlesque.
The former ring mistress with Circus Oz says the annual Finucane & Smith salon has evolved into a world-class show.
“Every year it sells out. I’ve never seen anything like it before. The stage is just full of really strong women of all ages.”
Ward says the seductive spectacle of “wild child circus and jaw-dropping cabaret” with stars including Ursula Martinez, Moira Finucane and Jess Love promises to be a “show for everybody”.
