Bros’ Yarraville clubhouse raided

AN outlaw motorcycle gang’s Yarraville clubhouse has been raided by police, days after it was left bullet-ridden by unknown shooters.

Tensions between the Bros Motorcycle Club and police flared on Sunday when authorities attempted to investigate reports of gun shots at the premises.

Bullet holes were discovered through the building’s front door and garage.

On Wednesday detectives from Taskforce Echo moved in on the Campbell Street property again, this time with a warrant, seizing a gun, drugs and other controlled weapons.

One man was arrested, charged with assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest, police said.

The search has been linked to Operation Resound, launched in March when a feud between the rival gangs threatened to spill into a bloody war.

The Bandidos declared war on the Hells Angels shortly after their sergeant-at-arms Toby Mitchell was shot in an ambush on March 1.

The Bandidos Brunswick clubhouse was raided days after the shooting, followed by a raid on the Hells Angels in June.
