Werribee sex assault

Detectives from Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for information after a teenage girl was inappropriately touched by a man at Pacific Werribee shopping centre about 1pm on July 14. Police said the 16-year-old was walking with her mother when a man allegedly grabbed the girl on the backside. The man is described as being of Asian appearance, tall and slim.

Footy brawl charges

A 40-year-old Truganina man has been charged with affray and two counts of assault, following a brawl at a Hoppers Crossing football match on August 13. The man was last week bailed to appear at the Werribee Magistrates’ Court on February 5.

Men face rape charges

Three men have been charged following an alleged sexual assault in Werribee on August 14. A 21-year-old Hoppers Crossing man, a 22-year-old Werribee man and a 22-year-old Sunshine North man have each been charged with three counts of rape, false imprisonment, intentionally causing injury and recklessly causing injury in relation to an incident near Comben Drive and Barnes Place. In Melbourne Magistrates’ Court last week, the men were remanded in custody.
