Delaney. It will open at 6pm on Thursday, August 29, and run until
October 13 at Footscray Community Arts Centre’s Gabriel Gallery, 45

QUEER FESTIVAL

Melbourne Queer Film Festival heads to Yarraville’s Sun Theatre
for three days from this Friday, featuring short films, documentaries
and feature films. Locally made film Monster Pies screens on Saturday.

FILM SCREENING

As part of Maribyrnong Libraries Adult Learners’ Week, the classic film Educating Rita will be screened from 1.30pm on August 30 at Footscray library, 56 Paisley Street.

MINI CHEFS

This
four-week course is suitable for children aged 6-12 who love to cook or
want to learn cooking skills by making a variety of dishes. The course
runs from August 28 to September 18 at the Maribyrnong Community Centre,
9 Randall Street.

WORKSHOP

Maribyrnong council and Smart Blocks invite apartment owners and
strata and building managers to attend a free workshop on how to save
money by improving the energy efficiency of apartment buildings. From
6-8.30pm today, the Reception Room, council office, corner Hyde and

MONDAY DANCE

Get your groove back with dancing lessons on Mondays, followed by a
