SPOTSWOOD has sent a message to the rest of the competition it
means business in the Western Region Football League division 1 finals.
The Woodsmen, hellbent on atoning for last year’s one-point loss
to Altona Vikings in the grand final, got off to a finals flyer with an
88-point annihilation of Sunshine Kangaroos in the qualifying final at
Chirnside Park on Saturday.
The Woodsmen get the chance to seal a direct passage to the grand
final when they meet Deer Park in the second semi-final at Chirnside
Park on Saturday.
The Kangaroos will face the Altona Vikings at the same venue on Sunday.
