MARIBYRNONG council is withdrawing membership of council advocacy group LeadWest.
The decision, made at last week’s meeting, is aimed at focusing advocacy resources “on the key contemporary issues facing the City of Maribyrnong community”.
Maribyrnong was one of five councils that formed LeadWest in 2006 with Moonee Valley, Melton, Brimbank and Wyndham.
