AT least 325 people have objected to a third development proposal for the former Newport timber yard site in Paine Street.
Domain Hill’s two previous plans were rejected by the Hobsons Bay council and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
The first was for a three-storey, 46-dwelling development.
The second was for a four-storey, 42-dwelling apartment block.
The latest application is for 43 two and three-storey buildings.
