A Kingsville resident is giving women in the west a chance to feel uplifted as they donate bras across the world.
Melanie Dow is running a bra drive for the Uplift Project, collecting bras to send to women unable to afford an item considered a luxury in many parts of the world.
Ms Dow said the donation of bras was an easy way to help women globally.
“It’s something we take for granted but for many of these women it would be a case of buying a bra or feeding your family.”
