The second ‘Dog Day in Dog Town’ organised, by the Williamstown Chamber of Commerce, will put on a festive feast for animals, their owners and the rest of the community.
Running from 10am-4pm on Sunday, October 13 at Commonwealth Reserve in Williamstown, the event features stalls, rides, dog competitions, and arts and crafts with a canine theme.
There will also be live entertainment, amusement rides, face painting, dog games and themed dog walks, with music in the rotunda by the Newport Fiddle and Folk Club.
Chamber president Samantha Martin said the event encouraged people to “enjoy what Williamstown has to offer” and explore it with their dogs.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Lost Dogs Home, Puppy Tales Rescue and Pets Haven Foundation.
