Mick McCumisky, dressed in a period costume and looking into the mirror of a 1948 fire pumper, joined Victoria Police Historical Society secretary Cesar Ziccone at Saturday’s inaugural Historical Emergency Services Expo at Newport.
Hosted by police, the Ambulance Historical Society, Fire Services Museum and State Emergency Service Museum, the event featured real-life exhibits in period uniform and the motor cars, trucks and pushbikes that served Victorians of yesteryear.
