Dogs and their best friends will celebrate Christmas at Newport Lakes on December 15 from 1-3pm.
Anne Palmer, of the Hobsons Bay Residents Association, said the event was a chance for people from across the municipality to meet their neighbours.
“It’s a community get-together with all our woofers at Newport Lakes,” she said.
“It’s really a Christmas party for the woofers and a get-together for the community.”
Residents will meet in the middle park opposite the fountain.
