Newport’s Jake Carr has maintained his impeccable record with a sixth straight win.
Carr sunk Sydneysider Zac Awad by technical knockout in the sixth round to retain his Australian super-middleweight title belt at the Melbourne Pavilion on Friday.
The fight was called off after a barrage of Carr blows forced Awad trainer Billy Hussein to throw in the towel.
