PHOTO COMPETITION WINNER
This photograph by Altona’s Allan Williams has been selected for the cover of the South Western Yellow Pages® book.
Mr Williams won the Capture the Cover competition with a photo of a pink sunrise over a jetty at Seaholme’s Cresser Reserve.
“I renewed my interest in photography about two years ago after retiring … I’m also a member of the Hobsons Bay Men’s Shed Photography Group. Photography has been kind to me, I met [wife] Jen in a camera club.”
CALLING SNAPPERS
People aged 12-18 who live, work or study in Hobsons Bay have until April 30 to enter the Pixel8 photographic competition by capturing unique local images. The competition, organised and judged by members of the council and police, challenges entrants to capture unique images of Hobsons Bay.
