Little worlds

Hobsons Bay Libraries’ Little Worlds school holiday program, running from June 30 to July 11, will include a puppet show, mystery movie, didgeridoo lessons for NAIDOC Week and Minecraft youth event.

Tighten screws on theft

Altona North police and SES volunteers will fit anti-theft screws to numberplates on June 21, from 9am-noon at Central Square Shopping Centre, corner Queen and Merton streets, Altona Meadows.

Building bikes

Footscray Rotary is seeking volunteers to monitor activity at a community bike shed from 11am-3pm, Saturdays. Rotary needs donated bikes and people who can work on the bikes to bring them up to near-new condition for allocation to refugees in the community. A Bike Shed Open Day from 11am-3pm this Saturday will include a barbecue and other activities.

Learn T-shirt printing

Are you 14-20, living in the west and wanting to learn T-shirt design and screen printing? Free sessions at Woods Street Arts Space, 44 Woods Street, Laverton, 2-5pm every second Saturday from June 28.
