Christopher Green’s Tina C makes no apologies

Internationally acclaimed comedian Christopher Green is bringing his country music character Tina C to Newport’s Substation.

The show, Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word, uses the “healing powers of country music to solve racial tensions Down Under”.

It promises to change how people view Australia through glamour, comedic songs and political satire.

Tina C, who has performed everywhere from London’s Albert Hall to Sydney’s Opera House, will be joined on stage by Aboriginal artists Lou Bennett and the grandson of Jimmy Little, James Henry.

Performances are at 7.30pm on July 10 and 11 and are suitable for ages 16

and over. Tickets cost $37 ($32 for concession) and are available online at www.thesubstation.org.au
