Apartment living appears to be the way of the future and while there are many to choose from not all of them have the views and convenient location that Mosaica, the upcoming apartments in Maribyrnong, will have.

Developed by ICG Property with award-winning architects Rothelowman on board, Mosaica will have plenty to offer urbanites.

The 29 apartments will sit high above Maribyrnong River with views of the water, parks, nearby Flemington Racecourse and the city. It will be within walking distance of Highpoint shopping centre and close to Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre, Medway Golf Club, Riverside Golf and Tennis Centre and the Maribyrnong River Trail.

“What sets Mosaica apart is its dress circle location, high on a hill opposite Pipemakers Park, with spectacular views that cannot be built out,” ICG Property director Michael Hepburn said.

He added that by 2031, it’s forecast that the population of Maribyrnong will nearly double which indicates a stronger demand over time which will lead to sustained capital growth.

Buyers have the choice of one-, two- or three-bedroom apartments with a carspace and storage. Inside luxury will abound with stone benchtops, mirrored splashbacks and German appliances, stone-topped vanity units and double showers, and woollen carpet in the bedrooms.

And each apartment has floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony or terrace.

“We wanted individuals to be able to imbue their own character through their artwork and furniture, to set up their own style within the apartment,” Rothelowman director Kim Lowan said.

One-bedroom apartments start from $395,000; two-bedroom apartments from $495,000 and the three-bedroom apartment is $795,000.

Construction is due to start later this year with completion expected early 2016.
