Police are appealing for witnesses after armed bandits dressed in Halloween-style masks held up staff at a West Footscray supermarket on June 29.
Altona North detectives said two men entered the liquor section of the supermarket on Barkly Street just after 8.30pm.
The men, wearing a pink mask and a green skeleton mask, approached the service counter and threatened staff with a firearm and crowbar before demanding cash.
One of the bandits stole more cash from a storage room and told a staff member to lie on the ground before both men fled.
An image has been released of the incident which shows one of the men wearing a black puffy jacket with diamond stitching.
Information to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
