Playgroup Victoria (PV) celebrated its 40th birthday on Monday with a Little Kids Day In at Scienceworks in Spotswood.
PV is a not-for-profit organisation helping Victorian families and 40,000 children discover playgroups.
Most families attend community-based playgroups, but other types include playgroups catering for specific cultures, children with autism, parents who work weekends, fathers and grandfathers.
Little Kids Day In has become a regular fixture at Scienceworks, dedicated to children aged six and under, their parents and carers. Nearly 21,000 visitors have attended the events since early 2012.
