Western Jets missed out on a spot in the TAC Cup top four after going down to Gippsland Power by two points on Sunday.
The Jets were in the box seat to grab a double chance but conceded seven goals in the last term as a three-goal lead turned into a 16.7 (103) to 15.11 (101) loss.
The Jets finished the home-and-away season sixth on the ladder and will play Dandenong Stingrays in an elimination final at Visy Park at 11.30am on Sunday.
