It was a dietician’s nightmare as fresh fruit and vegetables made way for delicious cakes and sweet treats at Melbourne Market on Footscray Road last Thursday – all for a good cause.
Staff from fresh produce business M Group, including Anh Cao and Sarah Culhane, produced a scrumptious morning tea for their co-workers and customers as part of The Big Cake Bake, which raises money for the Australian Red Cross.
M Group is the charity’s leading national fund-raiser, donating more than $24,000 in the past two years.
