Future fashion stars from across the north-west were thrust into the spotlight at the finals of Fashion Awards Australia at Taylors Lakes last Friday.
Students from around the northern and western suburbs, Geelong and Ballarat were among the budding designers who showcased their creative flair by designing chic day wear, glamorous evening gowns and quirky wearable art.
Among the winners was Stefani Shabo, of Penola Catholic College, Broadmeadows, whose black and white cardboard dress won the year 11-12 ‘recycled wearable art’ category.
