A creative photography project capturing a day in the life of Melbourne will be unveiled in Footscray next week.
All photos submitted for the third instalment of Colour Box Studio’s disposable camera project were taken during a 24-hour period last weekend.
Project co-ordinator Kristina Arnott said the exhibition, The Disposable Camera Project: Third Edition, at Ruffian Gallery will feature up to 2880 photos by 120 people.
“The idea is that it’s really accessible. Anyone can take part and participants will get to see their work up on the wall,” she said.
Ms Arnott said the popular project always attracted great interest.
“There have been some amazing, surprising photos; some people approach it in really creative ways,” she said.
The exhibition opens at Ruffian Gallery, 361 Barkly Street, Footscray, on Thursday, October 2 and closes October 12.
Prizes will be awarded for best photo, best set of photos, Ruffian Gallery’s choice and people’s choice. For more details about the exhibition, visit www.colourboxstudio.com/cbsdcp
