Judith Whitworth

Whitworth is a former director of the John Curtin School of Medical Research and Howard Florey professor of medical research at Australian National University. Now an emeritus professor at ANU, she is also a former chair of the World Health Organisation advisory committee on
health research. Whitworth was made a Companion in the Order of Australia in
2001. She was named the ACT Australian
of the Year in 2004.
