It’s the race that stops Yarraville.
Trainers have put their charges through their paces and a bumper field is due to turn out tomorrow for the sixth running of the JP Everlasting Books Snail Oaks, a snail race held at the end of a snail storytime book reading, from 11am Thursday.
Hopefuls name and train their own entries, including Roger, Stan and Debbie.
The race will be held at JP Everlasting Books, 355 Somerville Road, Yarraville. Register with Dharma on 9314 0529 – entries close 11am Thursday.
